Open the last Treasure Altar slot in Legend of Defenders

Full-release developer answer · November 3, 2026

The short answer

If the last Treasure Altar slot in Legend of Defenders is still locked after Demon Tower level 5, check the lower-left quests as well as the cleared floor. The developer answered this exact symptom by saying that the unlock is a quest and directing the player to the lower-left task.

Separate the milestone from the task

The original player had already done what the tooltip described as Demon Tower level 5. That alone had not opened the slot. Another player explained that the corresponding requirement also appears through the quest sequence.

  1. Confirm which Demon Tower milestone and locked slot your tooltip names.
  2. Open the lower-left quest book and inspect your current task.
  3. Finish and collect the tasks you actually have, checking for the corresponding treasure-slot requirement as the sequence progresses.
  4. Return to the Treasure Altar and recheck whether the last slot is available.

Use the developer’s lower-left location

A player reply called the log book “bottom right”; the developer's reply to the same question says left-bottom. This guide follows that developer correction.

The November 3 patch also makes completed short-term missions expand automatically. You may not need the same manual expansion seen in an older recording. No fixed task number or complete treasure-slot table is established by this discussion.

Check the result

The last slot should become usable after its required task is satisfied and collected. If your book shows the relevant task complete but the slot stays locked, report the current task text, Tower progress and slot tooltip together. Clearing another unrelated floor is not a documented universal fix.
