Refight a defeated Rift boss in Legend of Defenders
To fight an already available boss again in Legend of Defenders, open Rift Gate and select that boss again. A player asking how to bring Goblin Empire back after beating it was given this route. It is a rematch path, not a promise that the next fight will drop a particular legendary item.

Reselect the boss you can already challenge
- Open Rift Gate.
- Find Goblin Empire, or the previously available boss you want to challenge, in the selection.
- Inspect the challenge conditions and any current cost shown before starting.
- Choose that boss and run the challenge again.
This answer assumes the target is already available in your Rift selection. It does not supply the full unlock chain for every boss or an exact ticket price.
Why return to the boss instead of only pushing waves?
In the equipment discussion, the developer directed the player toward beating Goblin Empire. The player had already beaten it and spent a large amount on chests without finding the named effects. A reply clarified that the equipment they were discussing drops from the boss itself, then explained the Rift Gate re-selection.
The October 31 official advice also recommends defeating Rift bosses for gear, then visiting the Blacksmith for enhancement, enchanting and rerolls. It separately mentions Black Market boxes. That is why the useful recommendation is a specific boss-rematch route, not “all legendary gear can only come from bosses.”
A rematch is not a guaranteed affix
The original question names Bloodpact, Fear of Death and other effects. It does not establish a complete current loot table, exact odds or a guarantee that every named effect comes from the same boss. A missing drop after one rematch does not prove that you chose the wrong menu.
The November 3 update fixes abnormal Rift Boss and Demon Lord Tower battle states, and the Monster Horn wait-time sync. Those announced fixes are separate from a complete answer about each drop.
Check the result
You should enter the chosen boss challenge again. Check the actual boss selection, not just a translated victory message: the November 2 hotfix corrected a Fallen Angel/Cyclops naming mismatch. If the boss is absent from your list, retain the current selection and progression details; the sources here do not establish every missing unlock.
