Check whether Mag Ranger needs DLC in Legend of Defenders

Missing after many recruits does not establish a DLC lock

The original poster had made more than 1,000 recruits and still lacked Mag Ranger, then reported more than 1,500. Other replies describe getting the hero without the DLC, including a player who had not played the Demo.

The developer's direct answer settles the access question: the hero is in the pool. It does not give a guaranteed number of recruits. A frustrating sequence is not proof that the Supporter Pack is required.

Check the current recruitment pool and probability information in your game before deciding how to use more resources. Do not treat another player's lucky result as a promise for your next draw.

What does the Supporter Pack change?

The official pack lists Mag Ranger as a starter hero, along with 200 Diamonds, Holy Light Castle and Witch's Hand. That paid starting entitlement is different from the base game's recruitment availability.

“Without extra DLC” does not mean that the base game itself is free. It means the additional Supporter Pack is not the exclusive recruitment gate for this hero.

Already bought the pack but cannot find the reward?

That is a claim-menu question. Use the small green button beside Castle Levelup to find the pack panel and Claim. Buying another copy or assuming a missing random recruit blocks your owned reward is not the route described by the sources.

Check the distinction

If you do not own the pack, the supported route is the ordinary recruitment pool, with no promised pull count. If you own it, check the separate claim panel. These are different ways the same hero can appear in your roster.
