Understand the Solar Turret tradeoff in Legend of Defenders
Solar Turret strengthens incoming enemies in exchange for greater rewards in Legend of Defenders. The official explanation names higher enemy Attack and HP, with more gold and experience. It is a risk-and-reward choice, so harder waves after using it are not automatically a bug.

Choose it for a goal your lineup can sustain
| Your immediate goal | The useful check |
|---|---|
| Push a difficult new wave | Consider whether strengthening the enemies works against the current push. |
| Earn rewards from repeat wins | Check whether the team can still win consistently under the stronger enemy conditions. |
| Recover after repeated losses | Reassess the turret tradeoff and the wave fallback setting instead of assuming extra rewards offset all failed fights. |
The reward statement describes successful farming potential. It does not establish a universally best lineup or a guaranteed improvement per hour.
Why players ask to choose a lower wave
In the November 3 Selecting Wave discussion, a player could not comfortably handle the enemy-boosting tower at their current stage and wanted a lower-wave button. Another player explained Auto-Battle Fail Rewind; the questioner replied that repeatedly failing could make the reward advantage feel pointless.
That is a useful condition to check before leaving a run unattended. If your run keeps failing and retreating, a higher reward displayed for a win is only part of the comparison. The wave and rewind guide explains the actual control.
Do not mix reward ratios from different replies
Current player posts use different percentages and describe their own star levels, waves, Mirror combinations and diamond income. They do not form one verified current numerical specification.
Use the current in-game description for your own turret. This guide keeps the official direction of the tradeoff: stronger enemy Attack/HP for more gold/experience. It does not give a diamond-drop rate, a minimum star requirement, a best farming wave or a fixed profit claim.
Check your decision
You should know whether the turret's stronger enemies fit the purpose of this run. Stable wins and acceptable progress are more useful evidence than an isolated reward number. If you compare lineups, keep the wave range and the other changes in view rather than crediting every difference to Solar alone.
