Understand Demon Tower recommended power in Legend of Defenders

November 3, 2026 · Developer power explanation and November 2–3 tower updates

The short answer

Legend of Defenders’ Demon Lord Tower recommended power is an enemy-scaling reference, not a guaranteed clear at your main-wave number. The developer explains that it is a parameter used to scale the monsters, while tower bosses can be attacked from the start. Read the Boss panel’s Power Value explanation, prepare suitable gear through the Rift route, and consider the characters’ attack behavior instead of relying on one wave threshold.

Read the Boss panel’s Power Value

Players in the original discussion compared the displayed recommendation with their main-stage wave and searched for a matching personal Power statistic. The developer directs them to the explanatory text on the Boss panel’s Power Value.

In the developer’s example, a tower at 25 uses scaling factor 25, with regular battles also using scaling parameters. That explanation does not establish identical outcomes for every team at wave 25. Gear, build and the tower encounter still matter. Do not turn individual players’ reported clear waves into an unlock or guaranteed-clear table.

Match preparation and targeting to the tower attempt

  1. Inspect the current floor’s visible conditions and power explanation before selecting your team.
  2. Check the equipment actually worn by the intended heroes. The developer says the tower was meant to encourage suitable equipment obtained through Rift battles.
  3. Review character attack behavior with the boss in mind. The developer says the tower boss is attackable from the start, allowing players to focus it more efficiently. The source does not supply one universal targeting-menu route or a complete winning lineup.
  4. Compare the next attempt’s result with that change. If the boss still survives, record the floor, current conditions, team/gear and behavior used rather than assuming more main-stage waves alone must resolve it.

One player reports a floor-specific fire advantage and frost disadvantage; later players discuss Burn and Poison. Those reports are not a rule that every tower shares those modifiers, that one effect is mandatory, or that every high-rarity damage hero is a suitable answer.

Separate older difficulty reports from the current update

In the November 2 thread, the developer says difficulty and the recommended-power calculation were adjusted after players became stuck. The November 2 hotfix separately states that the first Demon Lord Tower floor was made easier.

The November 3 patch fixes abnormal Rift Boss/Demon Lord Tower battle state and a return to the main menu between tower auto-consecutive battles. Those specific corrections do not prove a guaranteed clear, and they are different from the original question about interpreting Power Value. Check your current update before treating an older failure as the same active bug.

If the recommendation still feels wrong

Keep the actual floor, Power Value text, build or update date, team and equipped effects when asking in the original tower discussion. The developer’s intent was preparation and suitable gear; this guide does not supply an unverified best build, damage breakpoint or fixed main-wave requirement.

You can explain what the displayed recommendation measures, identify the floor’s current conditions and decide which preparation or attack-behavior change to test. The task is not complete merely because your main-wave number exceeds the label.
